School Reopening Plans and Distance Learning
It has come to our attention that there is an urgent timely need for planning and discussion for reopening plans, distance learning support, and pandemic response.
We are fortunate enough to have Dr. Marie Alcock in Billings and available August 10-11, Monday, and Tuesday for support.
Dr. Marie Alcock has samples, lessons learned from global experience, strategies for specific groups of students, and faculty support plans. Dr. Alcock has been working with districts across the world for the last 18 months and can provide practical guidance.
We encourage you to invite other team members (other admin, teacher leaders, union representation, etc) that you feel should be a part of this discussion to attend with you.
Last, we will be offering a live stream option. We will be prepared to take questions about whether you’re in the room or not.
Please consider joining us as we all collaborate to build our reopening plan with expert consultation, examine samples, and build a powerful network.
Dr. Marie Alcock serves as a national and international education consultant. Marie has published “Bold Moves” that has been used to guide reopening schools and has been working with schools internationally to support reopening and distance learning needs. Her work focuses on the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment design. She has spent the last twenty-five years working in public and private education as a teacher, administrator, and public advocate.
